Kids with no Christmas gift need some help

We have two daughter teenager and pre-teen, and we are moving into our new apartment tomorrow. My husband lost his job for a few months and the landlord would not work with us, so they evicted us, we were 24 hrs from being on the streets sold all of our furniture and my friend said I could stay with her, I had an aprt. lined up for the next weekend, as my husband did get a good job and has been at it now for a few months but it does take a little while to get cought up and pay bills to safe for another place, we found a place that is giving us a second chance. I am so thankful to God and I am not sure what I am going to do for the girls. I know they are old enough to understand but I once was 12 and 14 and to know Christmas morning I am going to wake up and have no Christmas gifts, well that would be hard for me, so it is my place to try to make it ok for them, I am asking just for a little bit of help for them if here is someone that could help with a few gift, or even a tree. We both have jobs and it is going to be a great year for us, next year it will be my time to shine and help families like mine. Thanks and God Bless!

I have a back injury from a car accident in 2001, and I also suffer from a seizure disorder. Times have been tough for me to provide for my children as a father because I can't work. Need help for Christmas gifts for my babies

My husband is permanently disabled and I have 3 children. My two oldest have Autism and my youngest has Global Developmental Delay and an Auditory Processing Disorder. I am unable to work because I need to take care of all of them. We are surviving on a very fixed income and the kindness of some relatives. Christmas is coming and I would love to be able to buy my kids some gift. If there is anyone out there who can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much and may God Bless you all.

Im disabled & on SSDI and I want to earn my own living without SSDI but I need help to cover the cost of retraining .

Hello,
I want to be upfront, I am searching for help to get off SSDI and get financial assistance to help pay for vocational training so I can take care of my family on my own again. I want to earn a living but I need four months of training so I can learn a trade that will work around my disability.
I'm 39 years old and a few years ago i was rear ended in a really bad car accident by a large truck while waiting at a traffic light on my way home from work when my entire life changed faster than that light I was waiting at could turn green. I remember just feeling a warm sensation go down my legs and i felt pain in my spine because when that truck hit my car my spine was crushed and It fracture (broke) four of my spinal bones and crushed four disc. I have five children and a wife so i have so much to live for even though the past three surgeries, extrem pain and rehabilitation seems like more than any human could endure but I have and now I need to learn a new trade or skilli so I can work around my disability and still be self sustaining and earn my families living. I am stable now, mostly I have pain all the time and I cant conform to the structure of a 9-5pm type of schedule because I need to be able to lay down, sit up, recline or stand throughout the day as needed. Mornings are usually my worst part of the day because my pain is very high and I have to let it calm down by moving around for a few hours. I am currently getting by on Social Security Disability (SSDI) and I have brainstormed for a while about what I could be doing from home to support my own family and get off SSDI so we could have a better quality of life and we could get our pride back, and feel less depressed. I realized that my brain is still very sharp and I have always had an interest in law so I attended the UNLV Paralegal Certificate Program information session and after speaking with the folks at the UNLV Paralegal Certificate program and explaining my situation to them they agreed that I would be able to work from home mostly preparing legal forms for people that needed these forms or legal answers completed for customers that did not know how to prepare them without legal assistance from a paralegal. In fact they told me that more and more people are using paralegals with the economy in it's current condition and most of the UNLV paralegals are choosing to work from home doing the same thing I thought would get me back to work and off SSDI. Working for myself and from home will allow me the work structure that I can sustain, I can work on legal forms for customers on my laptop while sitting in the recliner chair or even when Im in my bed if need be so I feel like I have found a solid way to become self supporting even after my major setbacks, I do not want to just give up! I am in need of a scholarship, gift from someone who cares about people and supports my attitude to always find a way and are willing to never just except SSDI for the rest of their lives when I can be creative and contribute to my family and society. I would also love a private student loan since the federal student loan programs do not offer assistance to continuing education programs from universities like the paralegal certificate program I need to complete.  I need some way or some one to help me find a way to pay the fee's to attend the UNLV Paralegal Certificate program that begins on 2/22/2011 and ends four months later on 6/9/2011. The classes are in the evenings from 6pm-9pm on Tuesday and Thursdays so I know I can handle that schedule since it's during the evenings only two days a week for four months. I am requesting a gift or someone can pay the tuition I will help them with any legal services for a lifetime for free and will be able to stop collecting SSDI from Social Security. The cost of the UNLV Paralegal Program, books, parking permit is about $6,500. I also will need supplies because I need a laptop (used is fine) to do this program and we had to sell our laptop computer to pay bills last year before my SSDI payments started. Thank you for taking a few minutes to read my request. Your help would be life changing for not only myself but for my wife and our three girls and two boys who need to grow up seeing what it means to work through disabilities, hard times and set backs and come out the other end as a winner because you dont give up hope. Before my car accident I always made a point to take time to help each of my children to work hard at everything they do and to not create excuses or limitations for themselves so they could be all they ever dreamed to be in life but always showing them that they will have to earn our way through life, Im a Dad that can still be that example and contribute but I dearly need help to get the retraining I need to do it. I have searched everywhere else I could think of for help but Im still needing to search because I havent found the assistance we need yet. Plus, at my age I would be saving Social Security 100's of thousands of dollars paying SSDI benefits to me for the rest of my life and that doesnt have to be that way. I hope someone reaches out and helps for whatever reason, our family would never forget you! Thank you for reading.

"THE PERFECT GIFT"

Dear Sisters/Brothers,

What do you think of when looking at the words THE PERFECT GIFT? I think of Jesus, many others think of Money, New Car, New Home, Jewelry, New Furniture, New Clothes, A Vacation, etc...

Jesus was and is the Perfect Gift, the Everlasting Gift, the Needed Gift, the Sacraficial Gift, a Precious Gift, a Love Gift, an Eternal Gift, a Blessed Holy Gift, the Ultimate Gift and Sacrifice that that you/I will have forever! Jesus the Messiah was sent for many reasons, the most important/needed was so that we could have Eternal Life, and so that we would have the Holy Spirit to help us daily through out our lives'. Please give the Gift of Life-Eternal Life by letting others' know Christ was Born...

John 3:16 (KJV) 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Mathew 1:21-25 (KJV): 21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Romans 1:1-13 (KJV): 1Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 2(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) 3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: 5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: 6Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: 7To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. 9For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. 11For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; 12That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. 13Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

If you have not been Saved/Born Again, if you believe that Christ was born/died and raised from the dead you can do so by asking God into your heart, life, and by reading/repeating the following words from the Bible,

Romans 10:9 (KJV): 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Me and my Family, wish You and Yours a Merry Christmas, and a Blessed New Prosperous Life filled with Jesus, Love, Faith, Wisdom, Peace, Comfort, Strength, and Joy!

God Bless You,

Our 3yr old son is battling cancer (leukemia). We are simply asking if a few people could find it in their heart to send us a $20 card for Walgreens. If just a few helped, it would help us so very much. Please see the video of his 10day requirement of supplies for his "at home chemo and medical treatments". Please find it in your heart to help. Help, my Blessed Life

Where do i start From?

well let me first introduce myself and tell you my story:

Before I will tell you about me, I would like to apologize for all the misspelling words and grammatic errors.

My Name is Taylor and I was born in Cheboksarui, Russia on October 14, 1986. I lived there for five years with my family. I had one brother who is four years older than me and one sister who is two years younger than me. At the age of five, I lost my dad; he passed away.... Since that point my biological mom, my younger sister and I began traveling all over Russia as a homeless family, which some considered “Gypsy”. We stayed in train stations, under bridges, in hay stacks and other places I don’t care to remember. For food, I had to jump over fences into other people’s gardens and take vegetables like: cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots... just to stay alive. Some days we ate nothing. During the winter, I had to beg people for a place to stay each night on behalf of my mother and sister. This became my job because my mom didn't care enough about my sister or me to do anything else. All the things that I did, I tried to hide from my sister, to keep her from learning bad things. I wanted to offer her love through our survival, but not teach her the way in which I had to do it. Everything I did was for my sister and me and to be able to simply survive.

I wanted a chance to go to school as I realized that a life without an education would offer us nothing. At an early age, I already knew that to have no education, would offer me a life of nothing later on. Because of our constant moves and homelessness, I had no friends. So, as simple as it sounds, I also wanted to have friends. But my mom didn't work and she didn't like to live in one place for very long. So at the age of nine, I told my mom I was so tired of moving around and I decided I was not going next time. Our next stop in life was on a farm where a family offered to us that we could live there in exchange for helping on their farm. At first, my mom agreed and went into the nearby city to work at a job. But, again, this didn’t last and soon she was ready to move on. I asked my sister if she wanted to stay with me, but she wanted to continue traveling with our mom. At first, I left with them, but soon decided this was not for me, so, I ran away and returned to the farm. My mom and sister never returned. That was the last time when I saw them. (Now, I constantly pray and hope they were able to provide for themselves and are still alive!!!)

This family on the farm decided to become my “foster family”. While not the ideal family: an alcoholic father who refused to come home and help on the farm, a mother who was constantly angry due to her husband’s absence, and an older brother who had severe mental problems and was also full of anger… this was a real family for me. They agreed to put me in school, so I realized one dream and began first grade at the age of 9. School became my favorite place, because at home, I had to take care of the farm with little help. In the morning, I took the cows to the city where a common caregiver watched them in the pasture, then, I fed the pigs, chickens and other animals. Only after my chores were done, was I able to go to school. And, I knew once home in the afternoon, other farm chores would again take over such as cleaning pig sties, chicken coops, horse barns and spreading the manure onto the field and garden, cultivate the garden, cut and stack wood for the winter, plow the fields for other crops, sickle the grass to collect hay and store it for winter in the barn and finally feed all animals before dark. On a large farm, the work is never done. Only after all chores were done, was I able to complete homework by dim lights.

I lived with this family for 4 years, until the age of 12. At the end of the forth year, their son who was 24 years old and mentally unstable, went crazy and tried to kill me with a pitchfork. So, I realized that this was no longer the place for me, and I went to my school principal and asked him to transfer me to another family. Soon, I went to live with another family, but in a few days my former foster brother, came and found me. He broke all the windows and demanded that the family return me to his family. So, in fear of their own family’s safety, they told me I could not stay with them any longer. I was next transferred into a large regional institution/hospital, which is where all the homeless kids come in for full evaluation, prior to being transferred to smaller city orphanages. During this time, I just felt like I was going through the processes, without really “feeling” anything or getting to know anyone. At the age of 12, my last stop in Russia was my transfer into a home style orphanage in a city called Ulyanovsk in June, 1999.

Little known to me, my (future) American parents would be arriving 2 months later, in August, 1999, to adopt my (future) brother, then return to adopt me (June 2000) and eventually return to adopt my (future) sister (December 2000). While we were not biologically related in Russia, we came from the same orphanage and now we have same mother and father and along with my parents biological son, this is my true family.

Between the time I first met my parents, and when I was later adopted by them in June 2000 my mom wrote me many, many long letters. Through these letters, which a translator read to me, I learned about my new family which included the fact that they were Christians. Prior to this, I only knew of the Russian Orthodox religion, which now I realize, had little to do with true Christianity and more to do with rituals and rules. Mom explained to me who Jesus was, what He stood for, and why He was important to them. These letters, sent over 10 months time, also helped me to regain trust in other people and to realize that someone loved me. This taught me patience and that this family was different. They never gave up and they did this because they truly loved me and I was very important to them. I had never experienced this kind of love before and never knew a love like this until they came into my life. Once home, my parents enrolled me, which mom had already explained in her letters, into North Cobb Christian School where I was surrounded by Christian friends and mentors (teachers), who had Christian morals and characters. Their love and support for me was amazing. I was never criticized or isolated for being different. This is where I decided to become a Christian. But, I soon learned that being Christian meant you had higher standards in your life, than before. I also learned about forgiveness and this hit me really hard. Because, before I became a Christian, I hated my Russian mom for what she put me through. However, when I understood what Christ had gone through and after all that he still forgave everybody, including me, for all THEIR sins. I realized I had to forgive my mom and all the other people for the bad things they had done to me. I didn’t realize how much of a burden this has been on my heart, and when I let go of it, I saw life from a new and wonderful perspective. Now, I realize that if it wasn't for my Russian mom, who chose to give me life, instead of aborting me, I wouldn't be here today! If it wasn't for my Russian mom, I couldn't have this perfect family. If it wasn't for my Russian mom, I wouldn't have any future now. If it wasn’t for my Russian mom, I wouldn’t have a car and the ability to drive. In the end, I see now that my Russian mom gave me what I always wanted: the ability to go to school, have a family and friends who really support and care for me. But, most of all, if it wasn't for my Russian mom, I wouldn't be a Christian, nor have the ability to share my testimony to encourage others to also become Christians. Now, I have so much that sometimes I forget what it was like to be poor, because I feel I am the richest person of all to have THIS past, this present and the future that lies ahead of me.

Now you know my back ground!

I would love to make a difference in this world. I would like to do something big!

I would like to make a history! I would like to impact peoples life!

Who ca help me?

About tigger4

Hi!  I am in need of $2500.  I only make approximately 1200.00 a month at my job.  I have to pay rent, food bills, gas, etc.  I made the mistake of going to payday loan places to cover expenses and now can not get out of the recurring fee to keep renewing since I can not pay back in full.  I can afford to make payments on this money.  I know nothing is for free.  I can pay back $100 a week until it is paid.  But it would be even better if it was a gift.  Thanks for considering my request.

I Can Help!

I have a great idea for helping people. BUt i cant do it by myself. I need Everyones help here.

Seriously, There are a lot of people who need help here.  I would like to personal choice one random person a month and donate what i can.

I am asking for your help rather your rich or poor. I am only asking that when i announce who the winner is for that month, Everybody donates $1. Its not much at all even I can afford to spare $1 a month (raising 2 kids n caretaker of my brother. on cash aid and a monthly income of $200 a month. Im in charge of all the bills, food, and everything else) But this is not where i list my needs. This is what i want to do to help other People. PLEASE! If we all give just $1 it will add up. Let me give an example if 20 people give $1 that months "winner" will have $20, it may not seem like much but it helps. Thats a pack of diapers for a single mom, some gas for a disabled person to get to an appt, A pack of socks and underwear for a child, or enough to buy at least one meal for a family of 4. The list goes on. Imagine how we can help if 100 people give $1. Everyone has needs rather they are working or not. Disabled or Fine. EVERYBODY can use a little help. I wont start till i know I have at least 10 people willing to participate. Also because i feel everyone  is able to give $1, I will be more likely to select those who are helping others too. Basically If you donate you will be selected to be donated too. Im starting with Just 1 person a month. Maybe more if this grows into something big. AND of course if you have more to offer the "winner" of the month you are encouraged to do so. (not just money, clothing, extra food, whatever you want)

If your willing to particiapate and like the idea just leave a comment

I am asking that "winners" set up a paypal account to make recieving a donation easier.

Christmas

I want to thank everyone who took the time to read my posts. That worker at the food stamp office was just plain mean and doesn't care if my grandson gets a gift for Christmas or not and I've been so worried about what I'm going to do for Christmas. Since I've never had to ask for help, I had no idea how to go about getting him on a list of some sort and she refused to tell me. He is 11 years old and understands we don't have any money, but I wanted to get him some kind of a gift.

My husband worked for 15 years at his first job when he was laid off from it. He worked 20 years at his second job when they down-sized. He had Spinal Meningitis when he was a baby and then had Polio when he was a small child. He's had a lot of pain in his back and legs in the past few years and was seeing a doctor when he lost his job and insurance. I had back surgery several years ago but the pain never did go away. I can sit for a little while and stand/walk for a little while. I have been walking down the road just a little bit at a time for months to pick up cans to sell, and made enough to buy a heater but didn't have anything left for Christmas.

Thank you for reading and Merry Christmas. I have to go to the library to get on the computer so I will check back in as soon as I can get there.

My wife and I just recently moved to florida.  I am going to school again, and working full time.  My wife has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and is unable to work.  With all of the bills piling up, we don't have much money for her prescriptions, or even any additional necessary hygeine items.  She loves to take good care of herself, and can't do this.  I am hoping that there is an angel out there somewhere that can help us financially so we can get her medicine and maybe a few things for her hair, and some perfume.  she really likes this kind of stuff.  and she holds this family together.  the kids are really hoping that we can get mom's spirits back up some.
